The Bride's Dress:

If I had the perfect dress, what would it be?  Well, that's exactly how I started.  There were many beautiful gowns to feast your eyes upon in magazines, websites and in retail stores.  I picked my favourite pictures and took them to my soon-to-be sister-in-law.  She then took me to the fabric store where we found a pattern that could be altered to match the ideas I wanted from the pictures.  Together we came up with an original dress idea that cannot be found in stores.  Finally, we went to a discount fabric store and bought all the dress material.  I know that discount and wedding dress don't sound good together, but you will be amazed at the beautiful fabrics you can find in discount shops.

The Bridesmaids' Dresses

My bridesmaids are my family - my younger and older sister, and Collin's sister.  They will be wearing custom made dresses as well.  Two of the bridesmaid dresses are made by my grandmother and my aunt Jean.  The third bridesmaid dress and my wedding gown were made by Creative Impulse.  The pattern for the bridesmaid dresses was found at McCalls Online.

The girls are in three different colours, wine red, forest green and chocolate brown.  The cloaks are all gold.  The sleeves of each dress are chiffon that match the colour of their full dress.
