The Wedding Dress
My wedding dress was a creation inspired by many ideas I had seen in pictures. The dress was created by Creative Impulse and tailored to my detailed ideas.

My dress is a tank top style bodice made of red crush velvet with a gold lace trim on the "V." The back of the bodice has a tie of white lace. The front of the bodice has a gold Celtic Knot decoration made of a thin gold rope hand sewn onto the velvet. The Sleeves are flowing chiffon with lace edging. The skirt is a single chiffon overlay edged with lace and a two layer white silk skirt underneath. The train on the dress is 2 feet. My favourite part of my attire is the tulle cloak which extends slightly further than the train of the dress and clasped at the neck with a white "frog." Horsehair is used to keep the shape of the hood.
This dress began from single pieces of material. Nothing was premade. Every addition was simply that, added by my sister-in-law - from the gold celtic decoration on the bodice to the lace on the tulle. She did a fantastic job and I couldn't imagine a more beautiful creation.
Accessories include white leather strap sandals, my grandmother's pearl necklace, and flower headdress (not silk, but real flowers). Finally, the garter was a red butterfly with small bead decor.
